A Handy Guide to Nebraska Democrats' 2006 Unicameral Pick-Up Opportunities

Last week, University of Nebraska-Omaha student and Daily Kos contributor Dave Sund posted a quite thorough rundown of those Nebraska legislative races where at least one Democratic candidate emerged from the May primary and will appear on the November ballot. Although there are a few points on which I would disagree with Sund, it's a nice resource he's put together for which he deserves thanks for his hard work and dedication.

With term limits taking effect this year and wiping out more than 2 centuries worth of legislative experience, it's going to be more important than ever that we elect capable and progressive leaders who won't require years of on-the-job training to be prepared to take on the many challenges that have befallen our state, not to mention those foreseen and unforeseen that await.
